My Dearest Clients,
I have known some of you for more than 3 generations and I thank you for remaining with me through the ups and downs of life. Some I have had the pleasure of your company for only a few minutes. I was grateful to meet each of you. All of you have taught me something and I will miss talking to you and hearing your stories and opinions on life. This was not an easy decision, but I will not be working after June 27th of this year 2026. I've been having back issues, and it is time to rest.
Altagracia will continue to work but we are not sure of the location. She is wonderful!
Savita has gone off to raise her family. I will miss them and you, all very much.
If any of you might know other wonderful people I can refer customers to, I would love their information. I will have Waxing by Grace Instagram account up for a while after, posting any additional information. Also, the person who does my IG is amazing if anyone would like her information.

Waxing by Grace is located in Midtown East of New York City at 133 E. 58th Street. We are available by appointment only, Monday through Saturday. We offer online booking via booking website, Vagaro, however you may also call or text us at anytime at 212-585-2800. We may not be able to pick up right away, but we will get back to you as quickly as possible.

My name is Altagracia Peña, also known as Alta. I was born in Bani, a city located in the South of the Dominican Republic. My first language is Spanish and I am currently taking English courses. I graduated from University Pedro Henrique Ureña in September 1999 with a degree in Aesthetics. I have more than 25 years of experience working in this area. I worked for 11 years in "Clarydey" an Aesthetic clinic in Santo Domingo. I started and ran an independent project named Altadepilaciones, located in Santo Domingo for 13 years until I moved to New York in 2019. After I got situated in New York I attended Manhattan Nail Esthetics School and there I received my NY State Aesthetics license. My goal is to provide a professional, safe and pleasant service to customers. I love my work and it is important for me to take great care of people who have trust in me. I am a natural conversationalist, listen carefully to customer’s needs and have a creative mind.
Altagracia is available Tuesday from 11:00AM till 7:00PM and Sat 10AM till 2:00PM
